Rainforest alliance

The Rainforest Alliance certification is intended for producers, producer groups, processors, importers, exporters, and distributors.

The label is designed to develop more sustainable and responsible agricultural production and supply chains.

Rainforest Alliance has two standards : 

  1. The first one concerns agriculture and more specifically coffee, cocoa, tea, fruit, vegetables and nuts.
  2. The second one certifies the entire supply chain, allowing your company to source and sell Rainforest Alliance Certified products.

 

What does the label guarantee?

  • Improving the living conditions and health of producers, their families and communities
  • Protecting biodiversity, preventing deforestation and mitigating the impacts of climate change
  • Improving productivity and reducing production costs, leading to higher incomes
  • Protecting the rights of workers and children
  • Building climate resilience through smart farming methods

FFL

Fair for life

Fair For Life certification is intended for producers, producer groups, processors, importers, exporters, and distributors.

It allows you to market your Fair Trade products worldwide.

 

What does the label guarantee?

  • A fair purchase price above the market price
  • A protection mechanism for producers in case of crisis: the guaranteed minimum price, calculated on the basis of production costs
  • Decent and safe working conditions throughout the supply chain
  • Empowering producers
  • Environmentally friendly farming practices that encourage the transition to organic farming.

You can display the Fair for Life logo on your products when 80% of the raw materials used to make them are Fair Trade.

Fair For Life applies not only to raw materials and foodstuffs but also to cosmetics, detergents, textiles and handicrafts.

msc

MSC

The MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certification is intended for a diverse range of businesses, from fisheries to processors and restaurants.

The MSC label only applies to wild fish or seafood from fisheries that have been certified as sustainable under the MSC standard. This label allows you to promote sustainable fishing practices that respect wild aquatic life.

What does the label guarantee?

  • Certified sourcing: companies must purchase a certified product from a certified supplier
  • Certified products are clearly identifiable
  • Separation of certified and non-certified products
  • Certified products are traceable and volumes are recorded
  • A good management system to meet the requirements of the standard

ASC

The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification is intended for seafood processors, retail and catering companies.

The ASC label applies to seafood products from aquaculture.

This label allows you to promote responsible aquaculture that integrates environmental and societal criteria.

 

What does the label guarantee?

  • Fish, shellfish, seaweed and crustacean farming that is more respectful of the environment and human rights
  • Certified sourcing: companies must purchase a certified product from a certified supplier
  • Certified products are clearly identifiable
  • Separation of certified and non-certified products
  • Certified products are traceable and volumes are recorded
  • A good management system to meet the requirements of the standard
