Certisys is accredited to the ISO 17065 by both\u00a0BELAC<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0IOAS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These accreditations ensure the\u00a0reliability<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0credibility<\/strong> of our certifications, for both our clients and\u00a0 \u00a0consumers.<\/p>\n

Our approvals<\/h2>\n

Certisys is approved<\/strong>\u00a0by the\u00a0regional authorities of Belgium (Flemish, Walloon, and Brussels)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Luxembourg<\/strong>\u00a0as a control body for organic production, in accordance with\u00a0Regulation (EU) 2018\/848<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What is an approval?<\/h4>\n

In a certification program, approval <\/strong>is an official authorization <\/strong>granted by the program owner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In other words, being approved means that the organization has demonstrated compliance with quality, competence and conformity requirements<\/strong> defined by the program owner.<\/p>\n

For organic agriculture certification:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

It is granted by\u00a0\u00a0 for the purpose of carrying out a regulated activity: the control and certification of organic products.<\/p>\n

For Belgium:<\/strong>\u00a0BE-BIO-01 CERTISYS<\/p>\n

For the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: <\/strong>LU-BIO-06 CERTISYS<\/p>\n

These codes appear on the packaging of products certified organic by Certisys
\nThey guarantee that the product complies with European regulations on organic production and has undergone official certification.<\/p>\n

The European regulatory framework<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Since the adoption of Regulation (EEC) No 2092\/91 of 24 June 1991, the term \u201corganic farming\u201d has become an officially protected designation within the European Union.<\/p>\n

Anyone wishing to use this designation to label products must submit them to an inspection carried out by an independent authority or body (such as Certisys), approved by the Member States, in order to obtain organic certification for their products.<\/p>\n
