Standard CERTISYS for non UE countries

Certisys developed a standard, that holds the objectives and principles, the production rules, labelling requirements and control measures for operators in non EU countries who intend to bring their products to the European market bearing reference to the organic agriculture. This standard has been presented to the European Commission according to the procedure laid down in article 11 of Regulation (EC) 1235/2008.

This standard consists of two books. Book 1 holds the general rules. Book 2 holds the specific rules. Book 1 and 2 of this standard have the same organisational structure as the Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 and Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 respectively.
